An epic tragedy, based on Nepal's most famous epic poem written by the famous writer "Laxmi Prasad Devkota". Madan, a lower-class worker, is forced by poverty and mounting debts to go to Lhasa, Tibet, leaving behind his lonely mother and beloved wife, Muna. However, tragedy befalls him on the way home. This film was selected to represent Nepal at the 2004 Oscars.
